Data deletion
This page explains how to have data that Vardøga holds about you, your organisation or your connected social accounts deleted. Every route below is something you can do yourself, inside the product, without writing to us — though you can always write to us as well.
A connected social account
Under Channels, choose the connected account and select Disconnect. We delete the access token we hold for that account at once. Nothing we have already published on your behalf is removed from the platform by this — those posts belong to your account there, and you manage them there. If you removed Vardøga from your Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or Google account settings instead, our copy of the token stops working immediately and is deleted on the next sweep.
A persona
Under Personas, deleting a persona removes our copies of its reference images, the identity data derived from them, and every generated image and video that used it. For a persona built from a real person, this is also how a withdrawn consent is carried out.
Your whole account
Under Settings → Data, closing the account removes the organisation, its members, every asset, every generation and every stored token, and writes a dated erasure record that survives so we can show the deletion happened. Invoices are kept for the period Danish bookkeeping law requires and nothing else is.
By email
Write to [TO CONFIRM] from the address on the account. We confirm the deletion within 30 days. If you signed in through a platform and no longer have access to it, tell us which platform and the account name and we will find it that way.
