Terms of Service
These terms govern use of Vardøga (the service) at vardoga.com. The legal entity that provides the service is [TO CONFIRM]. Governing law and venue are [TO CONFIRM].
The service
Vardøga generates short-form marketing video from a persona and a campaign brief, then lets you download the result or publish it to connected social accounts. All video and stills produced by the service are AI-generated. Readable on-screen copy — prices, calls to action, product names, URLs and captions — is composited from structured data you supply. It is not rendered by the generation model.
Until Meta, TikTok and the other platform apps are approved, channel publish defaults to download-only. API publish is a later switch, not the current default.
Accounts
You create an account with email and password, handled by our authentication provider (Supabase Auth). Signing up provisions an organisation, makes you its owner, and grants a trial balance of minutes. You are responsible for activity under your organisation, including editors and viewers you invite.
Plans and minutes
Usage is metered in minutes of finished video. Plan minutes expire at the next renewal; purchased top-up minutes do not expire. Generation is refused if the organisation has insufficient minutes. The ledger is append-only: balances are a sum of rows, never a mutable counter. Current list prices live in the product; they may change on notice. [TO CONFIRM] notice period for price changes.
Personas and likeness
A persona is either fictional, an authorized real person, or a digital twin. For the two real-person types, the service will not generate anything until a consent record exists (subject, confirming user, timestamp, optional evidence). Consent can be withdrawn; withdrawal blocks all new generation immediately. Re-consent after withdrawal requires a new persona. Detail is in the Likeness and consent policy.
You must not use the service to impersonate a real person without that person's recorded consent, to generate sexual content involving anyone 17 or under, or to generate content you do not have the rights to publish. We may suspend an organisation that breaches this.
Your content and our output
You retain rights in material you upload (reference photographs, logos, briefs). Output the service generates for you is licensed to your organisation to use in marketing, including paid social, on the terms [TO CONFIRM]. You are the publisher of anything you post to a connected channel. You must comply with that platform's terms and with the AI content policy, including labelling AI-generated content when you publish it.
Channels
Connecting Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube or LinkedIn uses OAuth. We store encrypted access and refresh tokens (AES-GCM, application-level). We never collect or store social passwords. You can disconnect a channel; the stored tokens are then marked revoked. We cannot delete a post from a platform after you have published it — see erasure in the Privacy Policy.
Availability and limitation of liability
The service is provided as-is. Generation quality, identity consistency and platform delivery are not warranted to any particular standard. [TO CONFIRM] cap on liability and exclusion of consequential loss, in the form your counsel approves.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified [TO CONFIRM]. Questions: [TO CONFIRM].
